Welcome to
The Poppy Method

The Poppy Method helps high-achieving women regulate their nervous systems, release perfectionism, and reconnect with their bodies — without burnout, extremes, or pressure to “fix” themselves.

What is The Poppy Method?

Finding your path through health and wellness can feel overwhelming. There is always a new trend, diet, or routine promising to be the answer but often pulling you further away from what your body actually needs.

I know this firsthand.

After navigating my own health challenges over 10 years, plenty of trial-and-error, and being stuck with unanswered questions, I realized how difficult it is to find guidance that feels both grounded and trustworthy. I was stuck in a catch-22 where seeking healing only made me more dysregulated from the conflicting information, quick fixes, and wellness culture that often prioritizes performance over presence.

That experience became the foundation of The Poppy Method.

The Poppy Method is a holistic, nervous-system centered approach created for eldest daughters, perfectionists, and high-functioning women who have spent much of their lives holding everything together — often at the expense of their own well-being, whether they realize it or not. It is a space where science meets intuition, and where healing is rooted in safety rather than pressure.

This work is about learning how to listen to your body again, releasing survival patterns that once kept you safe, but now keep you stuck, creating sustainable wellness that supports your nervous system, your energy, and your life. Not one that demands perfection.

Through education, embodied practices, and gentle structure, The Poppy Method guides you back to yourself. Not by fixing you, but by helping you reconnect to what was always there.

My hope is that Poppybysara becomes a trusted place you can return to and a grounding presence in a noisy wellness world where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to build a life that feels regulated, rooted, and truly yours.

Peace,

Sara

ABOUT POPPYbysara

Poppy by Sara started because I reached a point where I couldn’t ignore what my body was trying to tell me anymore.

For most of my life, I was the dependable one. I liked being capable. I liked being someone others could count on. I pushed myself to do well, to be productive, to keep things together, even when I was exhausted or overwhelmed. I didn’t really know another way. Full disclosure, I still like having all these qualities but not in a toxic, disconnected way!

Over time, though, my body started pushing back. I lost my period (PCOS diagnosis). I felt emotionally flat and disconnected. Sometimes I couldn’t cry, even when I wanted to. I was constantly tired but wired at the same time. I kept telling myself I just needed to try harder or be more disciplined.

I also became really good at coping in ways that didn’t actually help — scrolling to shut my brain off, staying busy so I didn’t have to think, saying “I’ll keep you posted” instead of saying no. I wanted to be easygoing, capable, low-maintenance. Inside, I felt stuck and frustrated that my health and energy weren’t matching the effort I was putting in.

I tried fixing it the way I knew how: supplements, protocols, biohacks, research. Yes, some of these things helped, but nothing really changed until I slowed down enough to listen to what my body was asking for instead of trying to override it.

That’s when things started to shift.

I began learning about the nervous system, about how stress actually lives in the body, and how much of my “drive” was driving me into the ground! I started practicing things that felt almost too simple at first: breathing, slower movement, quiet time, paying attention to my cycle, letting rest be productive. Prayer became more like meditation for me. I stopped pushing my body and started working with it.

Over time, my cycle has returned (but can still disappear if I'm misaligned!). My inflammation has gone down. My skin and energy has improved. Even long-standing issues I had just accepted as normal began to ease (my ganglion cyst I've had for 3 years is gone!). But more importantly, I felt like myself again, with a refound, calmer, clearer, and more grounded energy.

Poppy by Sara is my life. It’s not about perfection or optimization. It’s about learning how to live in your body without constantly fighting it. It’s for women who are capable, thoughtful, and driven, but tired of feeling like they have to hold everything together on their own.

I don’t believe in fixing people. I believe in helping them reconnect with themselves, understand their patterns, and build a way of living that actually feels sustainable.

That’s what this space is for...to help you build the longevity needed for a fulfilled, deeply connected life.
